Can I use the iFire with my laptop computer?
Yes, as long as the laptop has a built in 6 pin FireWire port. FireWire ports (IEEE 1394 or iLink) that use a 4 pin connector do not provide any power. They are used for data transfer only.
Also, be sure to keep the laptop plugged into a power source if you will be using the iFire for extended periods of time.
