Why does my audio sound like chipmunks?!

This is caused if the FireWave changes the Mac's settings to 32000 Hz. Go to your Applications folder and choose the Utilities folder. Then choose the Audio Midi Setup utility, and select Properties For: FireWave. Set the Format to 44100 Hz.
