Why can't I get Soft Power On to work on my computer?
The Soft Power On feature of the PowerMate has been discontinued.
Soft Power On was very cool, but it only worked on Macs that supported this feature and Apple has not included it on new Macs for a few years. Since most people who bought the PowerMate for this feature were disappointed to find their Mac didn't support it, we've chosen to remove the capability altogether.
