The device is not outputting video to the television.

Make sure that the video output switch is switched correctly for your region of the world. It needs to be switched to NTSC for the US or Japan, or PAL for most of Europe. If this is positioned incorrectly, you will not be able to view the TuneCenter's on-screen menu.
