TuneCenter
I am having problems controlling the device with the remote.
Make sure you are pointing the remote directly at the TuneCenter's receiver module. Since it is an IR (infrared) remote, it must be pointed directly at the TuneCenter dock itself, not the TV. Also, be sure that you are not pointing above or below the receiver, too. Keep in mind that some electronic devices can interfere with the unit's reception. In particular, fluorescent lights and plasma displays can adversely impact the range of the remote.
It has come to our attention that some of our TuneCenters that have shipped have an issue with the remote control that can make it difficult to use unless the remote control is aimed at a specific angle. We have since addressed this issue and all new TuneCenters are shipping with the revised remote. You can tell which version of the remote you have by comparing the LED to the image on this page. The new version of the remote has a much smaller LED in comparison to the old version. If you believe you have a first-edition remote that is not functioning properly, please contact Customer Service so we can exchange the remote for a new one.
