Does it plug into an AC outlet?
No. It gets power by connecting to a USB port on your computer.
You could also provide power to the dock by using a power supply like the PowerBlock that comes as part of the Griffin Power Duo for Sansa. Just use the USB to mini USB cable that came with your PowerDock to connect it to the PowerBlock USB wall charger. Now you can plug in your PowerDock anywhere in your home!
