After installing, the PowerMate does not respond to commands. (Mac)
If you want to install a new version of Powermate software, you MUST uninstall the old version first. Otherwise the PowerMate may not respond.
To uninstall the old software:
- Unplug the PowerMate
- Open System Preferences
- Right-click (or Control-click) on the PowerMate icon in System Preferences and select "remove"
- Important! Delete the preference file from:Users/library/preferences (com.griffintechnology.powermate.plist)
- Restart the computer
- Install the new software
- Plug the PowerMate in
