After installing, the PowerMate does not respond to commands. (Mac)

If you want to install a new version of Powermate software, you MUST uninstall the old version first. Otherwise the PowerMate may not respond.

To uninstall the old software:

Unplug the PowerMate
Open System Preferences
Right-click (or Control-click) on the PowerMate icon in System Preferences and select "remove"
Important! Delete the preference file from:Users/library/preferences (com.griffintechnology.powermate.plist)
Restart the computer
Install the new software
Plug the PowerMate in
