What's the small port on the bottom of the iTrip for exactly?
That is a USB mini "B" port, which has 5 pins and is shaped like a trapezoid (remember those?)
The port was designed to work with the PowerJolt, a USB car charger, and a USB to mini USB cable that you can use to charge your iPod while using the iTrip.
