Which iPods are compatible?

RoadTrip with SmartScan works with:

iPhone 3G*
iPhone
iPod touch (2nd Generation)
iPod touch
iPod classic 80/120GB
iPod nano (4th Generation)
iPod nano (3rd Generation)
iPod nano (2nd Generation)

*Originally the RoadTrip with SmartScan was not compatible with the iPhone. However, we have recently received stock of an updated model that is compatible. The first version of this product had a part number of 4040, and the updated version is part number 4058. If you see this product locally, just be sure to look for a "Made for iPhone" badge on the front of the box, as international part numbers and part numbers used by individual retailers may be different. Model 4040 did ship with adapters for the 5th Gen iPod Video and iPod Classic 160GB. If you require one of these adapters for your 4058 model, just contact Support at Griffin Technology here.
