How do I use the A/V line out?
The A/V line out provides a video and audio output from your 5th Generation iPod video. The "video out" features of other video-enabled iPods are designed differently and will not work in the scenario described below.
- To make use of the 5th Gen iPod Video's AV output, connect a 3.5mm to RCA Y-cable to the RoadTrip's AV jack. The RCA ends of the cable can be plugged into your car's video system.
- Or, connect a 3.5mm stereo audio cable to the AUX in on the car stereo for line-in audio.
