Does the PowerBlock Dual charge at 500mA per port even when two devices are plugged in?

Each charging port on the PowerBlock Dual has a standard USB output of 5V at a rate of 500mA, regardless of whether there are two devices or one plugged into it. This means that it will charge a device as quickly if it is the only one plugged into the PowerBlock Dual as it will if there is another USB charging device plugged in.
