    For the survivor… Do something with a dog. Let it chew on it or tie it to his collar with a long rope and make the dog chase a cat…. :)

    We haven’t performed official tests for gas and grease, however, it does meet conditions outlined in US Department of Defense MIL-STD-810 and UK Department of Defense Def-Stan 00-35.

    Well I’m glad it survives. Still, it’s best to get in the habit of checking those pockets first. Just in case. :)

    You should hook up a cord to the case and tie the other end of the cord to a car and drive on concrete really fast.

    For a test, you should tie a cord to the phone/ipod then, tie the other end of the cord to the back of a car, then drive on concrete really fast.

    ive got an idea for yous to test it out , on the case of the griffen it says sand/dust proof . id like to see it against some sort of sand blower

    For a test, you should cover the back of the griffin case with gasoline(or any flammable liquid) and light it on fire. Then leave it on fire for 5 minutes. Then, see if the phone was burned or damaged badly.

    i suggest you should tape the case with the iphone in it to somethng haevy like a big rock and drop it on the ground from 1 story high. and by the way, make a case compatible wit the white iphone 4s please. i really need a case like the survivor series but i have a white iphone 4s.

    i bought a case for my ipod touch 4g and i watched the video for the iphone. im just wondering does the case for the ipone have more protection than for the ipod touch

    Here Is Something A lot of People Complain about. People Say that The Griffin Survivor Case For iPod 4G is Good in Overall, But It Collects Lint’s in Pockets and Not every Headphone can Fit in The iPod with The Survivor case on It.

    Ok i never do this but here we go i got a Griffin iPhone case from a friend but anyway i was at work and there’s construction going on i let in a double belly truck and dropped my phone while the truck was driving away the case with the phone in got ran over by 4 sets of tires on a fully loaded truck the only damage was to the case and it still in good shape and the phone works also so thank you for making and GREAT phone case

    Alright. People always mouth back and forth. Ah my case is better blah. So to put it to the test. Take the best of the best. The kraken 2 from trident. The defender from otterbox. The survivor from griffin. And any other big name brand. And put them through. Extreme tests. Dropping, hitting, smashing etc. And see what case comes out on top. Because me personally I have a kraken 2 because I have a Droid x and no survivor case is available. So I would be eager to see how mine holds up compared to. Otterbox and griffin. Thanks!

    Nice, but will it surrive being left in your pants pocket and then a wash and rinse cycle in a washing machine… and then put in the dryer for and hour..!?

    Using the survivor:
    -Drop it in a pool
    -Drop it out of an airplane
    -Put it in a pocket and put it in the washing machine
    -Put it in the dishwasher

    It’s military strength right??? Well try putting it through military scenarios like extreme sandstorm simulations, falling into mud or water, or getting banged against rocks, or I knew a marine that was stationed in Cali and he had his phone laying on ammo crates and got it crushed, see how it will stand up to 500 to 1000 pounds laying on it!!!

    Go to the beach bury it in the sand by the water then let the water hit it. dig it up, then use a go-pro camera on a surf board tie the ipod to the top of the board

    As the survivor survived the bridge drop which was epic.
    You should drop it out of a helicopter at 15 thousand feet and see if that survives :) .
    Or put it in a washing machine.
    Improvements
    My only problems with this product for the ipod touch is that it should have a transparent screen shield instead of silicone covering for the light sensor, as this prevents the screens brightness from automatically changing.
    2.the silicone flaps should have a thicker cord attaching it to the silicone case to prevent it from snapping over time. I absolutely love the survivor case!! for ipod touch
