StompBox and Mic Stand
After the wild success of our GuitarConnect Cable, which Appletell called “easily the best choice available when it comes to methods to connect your guitar to your iDevice“, we’ve been dreaming up new ways to help you play music with iPad. How does a professional-quality pedalboard for iPad and Mic Stand Mount sound?
StompBox

The StompBox multi-function foot controller integrates with iShred LIVE to give guitarists an iPad-ready pedalboard. With assignable foot switches and a 1/4″ expression pedal input, StompBox allows musicians to use their compatible iOS device as a portable, programmable effects board and practice rig while recreating the experience of an actual pedalboard.
Developed in partnership with Frontier Design Group—developers of iShred LIVE, iShred, Guitar, and other apps for iOS devices—StompBox brings a new level of realism to iPad-based music. Just like a real pedalboard, StompBox allows players to switch effects with their feet, without taking their hands off the instrument. StompBox connects to a compatible iPad or other iOS device with a 1 meter, heavy-duty dock connector cable, and gives the user four rugged, professional-quality and stomp-ready foot switches. The switches can be assigned through iShred LIVE to control different effects and presets within the App. There is hardly a feature or adjustable parameter in iShred LIVE that StompBox cannot control—it even controls the tuner, metronome, playback controls and more. An industry-standard 1/4″ input allows players to connect variable input effects like volume, expression, or wah-wah pedals, allowing more specific on-the-fly manipulation of effects and settings within iShred LIVE.
StompBox is packaged with our GuitarConnect Cable, and optimized for use with iShred LIVE. At launch, iShred LIVE will feature a number of StompBox-ready updates, including an intuitive StompBox setup interface, and new effects like Overdrive and Wah-Wah. Learn more at www.griffintechnology.com.
Mic Stand Mount for iPad allows easy mounting of an iPad on a mic stand for a range of practice and performance scenarios. Whether displaying lyrics, sheet music, tabs, or otherwise, Mic Stand Mount screws onto a standard 5/8″ microphone stand so that the user can raise or lower their iPad to the perfect height. The Mount’s four rubber-lined grips hold iPad securely on all four corners without blocking the controls, dock connector, or audio jack; the grips also accommodate most shell- and skin-type cases for iPad. The mount rotates and locks into either portrait or landscape view, and tilts up to 90 degrees.
