Will the Evolve let me watch videos from my iPod on my TV?
It depends. Video output is fully compatible with Fifth Generation iPods with Video on all Evolves.
iPod Classic, iPod touch, and the 3rd Generation iPod nano introduced new video output requirements. For this reason, the earliest Evolves produced do not support video output with these models.
If the Evolve you purchased included an AV cable, then video output of all these iPod models is supported. It has the necessary internal changes to make this possible. If your Evolve did not come with an AV cable, it was produced earlier, and only the video output of a 5th Generation iPod Video is supported.
